Pueblo Science

Pueblo Science operates a community science lab in Toronto where young people from underrepresented backgrounds learn hands-on STEM skills through inquiry-based projects. The organization runs after-school programs and summer camps that combine biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering with mentorship from scientists and engineers. Participants work on real research problems, from analyzing water quality to building renewable energy prototypes, gaining the confidence and knowledge needed for careers in science and technology. Pueblo Science specifically recruits students who might not otherwise have access to quality science education, removing financial barriers through free programming and providing the equipment, space, and expert guidance that make genuine scientific exploration possible.
