RAAG-MALA MUSIC SOCIETY OF TORONTO

Raag-Mala Music Society of Toronto teaches classical Indian music to students across Scarborough and the Greater Toronto Area. The organization offers instruction in vocal music, sitar, tabla, and other traditional instruments to learners of all ages and experience levels. Classes cover both the technical foundations and theoretical knowledge necessary to perform and appreciate Indian classical music traditions. The society also organizes public concerts and recitals that allow students to showcase their progress and give community members access to live performances of this rich musical heritage. By providing affordable instruction and performance opportunities, Raag-Mala helps preserve and share Indian classical music with diverse audiences in the GTA.
