Rainbow Faith and Freedom

Rainbow Faith and Freedom provides spiritual support and community spaces for LGBTQ+ people of faith in Toronto and across Ontario. The organization recognizes that many queer and trans individuals have been harmed by religious institutions or struggle to find affirming places of worship, and works to connect them with inclusive congregations, counselors, and peer support networks. Through advocacy, educational workshops, and direct one-on-one support, Rainbow Faith and Freedom helps people reconcile their spiritual beliefs with their identity. The charity also pushes back against discriminatory religious practices and policies that affect LGBTQ+ communities, working alongside faith leaders to foster greater acceptance within religious spaces.
