THE RAINBOW FOUNDATION

The Rainbow Foundation distributes grants to LGBTQ2S+ organizations and individuals across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The foundation supports health services, mental health programs, housing initiatives, and community centers that serve sexual and gender minorities. By funding local nonprofits and grassroots groups, the foundation strengthens the capacity of organizations working on issues like HIV/AIDS care, youth homelessness, and discrimination. The foundation also provides direct financial assistance to individuals facing hardship due to their sexual orientation or gender identity. Through strategic grantmaking, the foundation works to reduce barriers LGBTQ2S+ people face in accessing services and to build community resilience.
