RED MAPLE FOUNDATION
Red Maple Foundation operates a peer support network for young people experiencing mental health challenges across Toronto and the GTA. The organization connects teens and young adults with trained mentors who have lived experience with mental illness, offering one-on-one support, group programs, and skill-building workshops. Rather than clinical treatment, Red Maple focuses on reducing isolation and building resilience through relationships with peers who understand their struggles. The foundation runs drop-in centers, online support groups, and community events designed to normalize conversations about mental health among youth. By pairing individuals facing anxiety, depression, or other mental health conditions with mentors who have navigated similar paths, Red Maple creates spaces where young people feel heard and less alone in their experiences.
