REGISTERED NURSES FOUNDATION OF B.C.
The Registered Nurses Foundation of B.C. supports arts and cultural initiatives that promote health and well-being through creative expression. The foundation awards grants to artists, cultural organizations, and community programs that use the arts to improve mental health, foster healing, and strengthen social connections across British Columbia and the Greater Toronto Area. By funding everything from visual arts exhibitions to music therapy programs and community theater productions, the foundation recognizes how cultural engagement can be as vital to human flourishing as clinical care. The organization works with hospitals, schools, and community centers to make arts programming accessible to diverse populations, including patients in healthcare settings, marginalized communities, and people facing isolation. The foundation operates from Markham and prioritizes projects that bridge healthcare and creative practice in innovative ways.
