Riwoche Society

Riwoche Society works to protect and restore forests across the GTA and beyond through conservation projects, reforestation initiatives, and land stewardship programs. The organization partners with local communities and landowners to identify degraded ecosystems and implement recovery efforts that increase biodiversity, improve water quality, and sequester carbon. Riwoche Society combines on-the-ground restoration work with environmental education, training volunteers and residents in ecological practices and sustainable land management. The charity focuses on native species planting, invasive species removal, and habitat creation for wildlife, with particular attention to wetlands and riparian corridors that support both human and ecological health in the Greater Toronto Area.
