SHINING THROUGH CENTRE FOR CHILDREN WITH AUTISM

Shining Through Centre for Children with Autism operates arts and creative programming specifically designed for autistic children in the Woodbridge area and across the GTA. The organization uses visual arts, music, drama, and other creative activities to help children with autism develop social skills, build confidence, and express themselves in ways that align with how they learn and communicate. Staff and volunteers work with each child to discover their strengths and interests through creative practice. The centre recognizes that many autistic children have particular talents in artistic areas and creates a space where these abilities can flourish while supporting overall development. Classes and workshops are adapted to sensory and social needs, allowing participants to engage at their own pace in a supportive environment.
