SHROMANI SIKH SANGAT TORONTO

Shromani Sikh Sangat Toronto operates an environmental stewardship program rooted in Sikh principles of caring for creation. Based in Mississauga, the organization runs community gardens, tree-planting initiatives, and waste reduction projects that engage local volunteers in protecting natural spaces across the GTA. Members work to restore green areas, promote sustainable living practices, and educate families about environmental conservation. The sangat combines spiritual teachings with hands-on environmental action, offering opportunities for people of all backgrounds to participate in protecting the region's ecology for future generations.
