SKETCH WORKING ARTS FOR STREET INVOLVED AND HOMELESS YOUTH
Sketch provides visual arts programming and employment support to street-involved and homeless youth in Toronto. The organization operates a drop-in studio where young people create artwork while receiving meals, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities. Sketch also runs a social enterprise that sells youth-created art and merchandise, generating income for participants and helping them develop work experience. Through artist-led workshops in drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital media, the charity creates a welcoming space where youth can express themselves, build confidence, and connect with peers facing similar challenges. By combining creative practice with practical employment training, Sketch helps young people move toward stability and independence.
