SLEEPING CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD

Sleeping Children Around the World delivers beds and bedding kits to children living in poverty across Africa, South America, and Asia. The Toronto-based charity recognizes that a proper bed is foundational to a child's health, dignity, and ability to attend school. Volunteers assemble kits containing a bed frame, mattress, sheets, pillow, and blanket, then travel to partner communities to distribute them directly to families in need. Since its inception, the organization has provided beds to hundreds of thousands of children. By addressing this basic need, Sleeping Children Around the World helps break cycles of poverty and gives vulnerable children better chances for rest, education, and improved wellbeing.
