THE STORYTELLERS SCHOOL OF TORONTO

The Storytellers School of Toronto teaches young people how to use storytelling as a tool for self-expression and community engagement. Through workshops and mentorship programs, the organization helps students develop narrative skills while exploring themes of identity, cultural heritage, and social justice. Participants learn to craft and share their own stories across various formats, from spoken word to film to written pieces. The school works with youth across Toronto who might otherwise lack access to creative education, providing a space where diverse voices can be heard and valued. By centering student narratives, the organization builds confidence and critical thinking skills while fostering deeper connections between young people and their communities.
