TAFELMUSIK

Tafelmusik is a Toronto-based orchestra that performs Baroque and Classical music on period instruments, recreating the sound and style of 17th and 18th century compositions. The ensemble presents concerts throughout the year at venues across the GTA, ranging from intimate chamber performances to full orchestral productions. Through its performances, recordings, and educational outreach programs, Tafelmusik introduces audiences of all ages to early music traditions and the historical context of these works. The orchestra also mentors young musicians and collaborates with singers and guest soloists to bring these classical repertoires to life for contemporary listeners.
