Thin Edge New Music Collective

Thin Edge New Music Collective creates opportunities for Toronto composers and musicians to develop and perform contemporary classical music. The organization commissions new works, produces concerts and festivals that showcase emerging and established composers, and provides mentorship and resources to artists working in new music genres. Through its programming, Thin Edge connects audiences with cutting-edge compositions and gives performers platforms to experiment with innovative sound. The collective works across the GTA to strengthen the local new music scene by fostering collaboration between composers, musicians, and listeners who engage with classical music beyond traditional repertoire.
