Toronto Accessible Sports Council
Toronto Accessible Sports Council removes barriers that prevent people with disabilities from participating in athletics and recreation. The organization works with coaches, facilities, and community programs across Toronto and the GTA to adapt sports offerings for participants of all abilities, whether through wheelchair basketball, para-swimming, inclusive soccer, or other adapted activities. By training staff, modifying equipment, and connecting athletes with appropriate programs, the council ensures that physical activity and competitive sport remain accessible options for disabled residents who might otherwise be excluded from traditional recreation.
