Toronto Board of Rabbis
The Toronto Board of Rabbis brings together rabbinical leaders from across the city's Jewish community to address social issues and provide pastoral support to residents in need. The organization coordinates interfaith initiatives, offers counseling and spiritual guidance, and advocates for vulnerable populations including the homeless, elderly, and newcomers. Working across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, the Board partners with hospitals, social service agencies, and other religious institutions to ensure that Jewish values of compassion and justice shape community responses to poverty, illness, and displacement. Members serve as chaplains, educators, and community builders, making rabbinic wisdom accessible to both Jewish and non-Jewish residents facing hardship or seeking moral direction during difficult times.
