TORONTO ELDERS' CHOIR

Toronto Elders' Choir brings older adults together through the power of singing, creating a welcoming community where members learn and perform music throughout the year. Based in Maple, the choir welcomes singers of all abilities and offers rehearsals, performances at local venues, and social gatherings that combat isolation while building friendships among participants. The group performs everything from classical pieces to folk songs and contemporary arrangements, with regular concerts at community centers and retirement homes across the GTA. Beyond the music itself, participation provides cognitive and emotional benefits, giving older adults a sense of purpose and belonging while contributing to the cultural life of their neighborhoods. The choir operates on the belief that age is no barrier to artistic expression or social connection.
