Transforming Cleft

Transforming Cleft uses visual and performing arts to support children and adults born with cleft lip and palate. The organization runs arts programs, workshops, and performances designed to build confidence and social connection among participants across the Greater Toronto Area. By creating spaces where people can express themselves creatively, Transforming Cleft addresses the emotional and social challenges that often accompany cleft conditions. The programs include visual art classes, drama workshops, and opportunities to perform and exhibit work. Transforming Cleft recognizes that artistic expression can be powerful in helping participants overcome isolation and develop a stronger sense of identity and belonging within their communities.
