THE TWISTED STITCHERS QUILT GUILD

The Twisted Stitchers Quilt Guild creates and donates quilts to people in need across Oshawa and the surrounding region. Members of the guild, ranging from experienced quilters to beginners, work together to design and hand-stitch quilts that provide warmth and comfort to individuals facing hardship. The organization distributes these quilts to hospitals, shelters, foster care facilities, and families experiencing loss or crisis. By combining traditional quilting skills with community service, the guild transforms fabric scraps and donated materials into meaningful gifts that offer both practical support and emotional comfort. The group meets regularly to work on projects, share quilting techniques, and coordinate distribution efforts throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
