Uptown CYP

Uptown CYP provides youth mentorship and leadership development programs to young people across North York and the greater Toronto area. The organization pairs trained mentors with youth ages 13 to 24 to build confidence, develop life skills, and create pathways toward education and employment. Through one-on-one mentoring relationships, group workshops, and community engagement activities, Uptown CYP addresses barriers that young people face including social isolation, lack of direction, and limited access to positive role models. The charity works particularly with youth from underserved neighborhoods, offering culturally responsive programming that reflects the diverse communities it serves. By fostering meaningful connections between mentors and mentees, Uptown CYP helps young people set goals, navigate challenges, and build the resilience needed to succeed in their personal and professional lives.
