THE VAUGHAN TOWNSHIP HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Vaughan Township Historical Society preserves and shares the history of Vaughan and the surrounding areas through archival work, exhibitions, and community programs. The organization maintains collections of historical documents, photographs, and artifacts that tell the stories of early settlers, local businesses, and cultural developments in the GTA. Members and volunteers conduct research, organize public events, and provide educational resources to schools and residents interested in understanding the region's past. The society operates from Maple and works to ensure that the heritage and historical significance of Vaughan Township remain accessible and valued by current and future generations.
