Verde Foundation

Verde Foundation distributes grants to community organizations across Toronto and the GTA that address poverty, housing insecurity, food access, and social inclusion. The foundation identifies and funds grassroots groups working directly with low-income residents, recent immigrants, and other vulnerable populations. Verde's grant-making process prioritizes organizations led by or serving people most affected by systemic inequality. By providing flexible funding to small and mid-sized nonprofits, Verde strengthens the local charitable sector's ability to respond quickly to emerging community needs. The foundation also convenes grantees to share learning and build connections across the social services landscape.
