VHL Canada

VHL Canada produces live performance events and educational programming rooted in Caribbean and Black diaspora arts and culture. The organization presents theatre productions, concerts, and dance performances that centre voices and stories from these communities, creating spaces where artists can develop their craft while audiences experience work that reflects diverse perspectives often underrepresented on Toronto stages. VHL Canada also runs workshops and mentorship initiatives that build skills in performance, production, and technical theatre, connecting emerging artists with established professionals. By combining performance with education, the organization strengthens the local arts ecosystem while creating meaningful economic and creative opportunities for artists of colour in the Greater Toronto Area.
