A Way Home: Working Together to End Youth Homelessness
A Way Home works to prevent and end youth homelessness in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area by coordinating a network of service providers, researchers, and government partners. The organization brings together data, resources, and expertise to identify young people at risk of homelessness and connect them with housing, mental health support, education, and employment services. Rather than delivering services directly, A Way Home acts as a connector, helping existing agencies work more effectively together to keep young people stably housed. The foundation focuses on evidence-based interventions and tracks outcomes to understand what works in preventing youth homelessness. By operating as a backbone organization, A Way Home reduces duplication and helps fill gaps in the fragmented system of youth support services across the region.
