WOMEN'S HEALTH IN WOMEN'S HANDS

Women's Health in Women's Hands creates and shares arts and cultural programming that explores women's health, sexuality, and wellbeing from the perspectives of women and gender-diverse people. Based in Toronto, the organization uses theatre, visual art, workshops, and community events to spark conversations about reproductive health, mental health, aging, and bodily autonomy. The charity works with artists and community members, particularly those from racialized and marginalized backgrounds, to develop culturally relevant content that reflects diverse experiences and knowledge systems. By centering art as a tool for education and advocacy, Women's Health in Women's Hands challenges mainstream narratives about women's bodies and health while building community connection and mutual support.
