WOMEN'S HEALTHY ENVIRONMENTS NETWORK
The Women's Healthy Environments Network works to protect the health of women and girls by researching and advocating against exposure to toxic chemicals in everyday products and environments. The organization examines how pollution, pesticides, and hazardous substances disproportionately affect women's wellbeing, from reproductive health to cancer risk. Based in Toronto, they conduct scientific research, engage in policy advocacy, and provide education to help women make informed choices about the products they use and the environments where they live and work. The network connects health professionals, researchers, and community members to shift practices and regulations toward safer alternatives across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.
