Youth for Society

Youth for Society operates across the GTA to connect young people with hands-on animal welfare work. The organization mobilizes teenagers and young adults to participate in sheltering programs, rescue initiatives, and educational outreach about responsible pet ownership and wildlife conservation. Volunteers assist with animal care at partner facilities, help with adoption events, and lead school workshops teaching children about animal kindness. Based in Thornhill, the charity trains youth volunteers in animal handling and welfare practices while building their leadership skills. By engaging the next generation in direct service, Youth for Society strengthens both local animal protection efforts and young people's understanding of compassion in action.
