ZATA OMM DANCE PROJECTS
ZATA OMM Dance Projects creates hip-hop and contemporary dance programs for youth in Toronto facing systemic barriers to opportunity. The organization uses dance as a tool for artistic expression, skill development, and personal growth, offering classes, performances, and mentorship to young people from low-income communities. Through intensive training and creative projects, participants build confidence, develop professional skills, and form meaningful connections with peers and instructors. The programs serve dancers of all levels and often culminate in public performances that showcase student work. ZATA OMM operates with a belief that dance can shift perspectives, build resilience, and create pathways toward greater self-determination for the young people it serves across the GTA.
