5N2 Soup Kitchen Project

The 5N2 Soup Kitchen Project serves hot meals to people experiencing food insecurity and homelessness in Scarborough. Operating from a community kitchen, the organization prepares and distributes nutritious meals several times per week to those in need throughout the neighbourhood. Beyond providing immediate food assistance, the soup kitchen creates a welcoming space where vulnerable individuals can access a meal with dignity while connecting with supportive staff and other community members. The project addresses both the physical hunger and social isolation that often accompany poverty and homelessness in the GTA, offering more than just food by fostering human connection and reducing the stigma that can prevent people from seeking help.
