AFGHAN SETTLEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE OF ONTARIO

The Afghan Settlement and Development Committee of Ontario provides settlement services and social support to Afghan newcomers and refugees across the GTA. The organization offers language training, employment support, housing assistance, and cultural orientation programs to help Afghan individuals and families integrate into their new communities. ASCDO also connects clients with mental health services, educational programs, and community resources to address the specific challenges faced by those arriving from Afghanistan. Through a combination of direct services and partnerships with other agencies, the committee works to build self-sufficiency and social connection among the Afghan population in Ontario.
