AFRICYCLE

AFRICYCLE collects, refurbishes, and ships bicycles to communities across Africa, creating economic opportunity and improving mobility in underserved regions. The organization gathers donated bikes from Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, repairs them through volunteer programs, and distributes them to individuals and organizations in rural and urban African communities. Bicycles serve as affordable transportation for students to reach schools, for workers to access employment, and for small business owners to expand their services.
