AWHL-ASSAULTED WOMEN'S HELPLINE

The Assaulted Women's Helpline provides crisis support and counseling to women and girls experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and harassment. Operating from Etobicoke, the organization answers calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering immediate emotional support, safety planning, and referrals to shelters and legal resources across the GTA. Trained volunteers and staff help callers understand their options and access specialized services tailored to their situation. The helpline also provides support to women leaving abusive relationships, helping them navigate the complex process of finding housing, accessing mental health services, and rebuilding their lives.
