The Bartley Skills Development Program

The Bartley Skills Development Program delivers vocational training and employment support to adults facing barriers to work in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. The program offers hands-on instruction in construction, trades, culinary arts, and other in-demand fields, paired with job placement assistance and wraparound services that address transportation, childcare, and other obstacles participants encounter. By combining practical skills training with mentorship and connections to local employers, Bartley helps graduates transition into stable employment and build long-term career pathways. The program particularly serves individuals experiencing poverty, recent immigrants, people with disabilities, and others navigating systemic employment challenges. Rather than classroom-only instruction, participants learn through real projects and partnerships with regional businesses, ensuring skills align with actual labor market needs.
