Canadian Helen Keller Centre
The Canadian Helen Keller Centre provides support and services for people who are deafblind or have combined vision and hearing loss. Located in North York, the organization offers rehabilitation programs, skills training, communication support, and counseling to help individuals navigate daily life and maintain independence. Staff work with clients to develop strategies for managing their dual sensory loss and connect them with community resources. The centre also provides information and advocacy for families affected by deafblindness and works to raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by this population across the GTA and beyond. Services are tailored to each person's specific needs and abilities.
