CANADIAN ROTARIAN WATER FOUNDATION
The Canadian Rotarian Water Foundation brings clean water and sanitation infrastructure to underserved communities across Canada and internationally. The organization funds and implements water projects that address immediate health crises while building long-term capacity for communities to manage their own water systems. Working with Rotary clubs and local partners, the foundation identifies areas where lack of access to safe water drives disease and limits economic opportunity. Projects range from drilling wells and installing filtration systems to constructing washrooms in schools and training local technicians for maintenance. Based in Toronto, the foundation combines funding from Canadian Rotarians with technical expertise and on-the-ground oversight to ensure projects meet local needs and remain sustainable. The work directly improves health outcomes for vulnerable populations, particularly children and women who bear the burden of water collection and contamination.
