THE CATHOLIC CHILDREN'S AID SOCIETY OF TORONTO

The Catholic Children's Aid Society of Toronto provides child protection and family support services to vulnerable children and families across the Greater Toronto Area. The organization investigates child abuse and neglect, offers counselling and mental health support, and works to keep families together whenever safe to do so. When children cannot remain at home, they provide foster care, group care, and adoption services. Based in Scarborough, the society also runs prevention programs that help at-risk families access resources before crises occur. Their team of social workers and counsellors respond to reports of child maltreatment, assess safety, and connect families with community supports including housing assistance, parenting programs, and substance abuse treatment. The organization serves children from infancy through young adulthood, working with schools, hospitals, police, and other agencies to protect the most vulnerable members of the community.
