CENTRAL TORONTO YOUTH SERVICES

Central Toronto Youth Services provides counselling, crisis support, and life skills programming to young people facing homelessness, poverty, and mental health challenges across Toronto. The organization operates drop-in centres and outreach programs that meet youth where they are, offering immediate assistance alongside longer-term support to help them stabilize housing, access education, and build meaningful relationships with trusted adults. Staff and volunteers work with some of the city's most vulnerable youth, including those aging out of foster care and those experiencing family conflict or substance use issues. The agency combines emergency services with preventative work, recognizing that young people need both immediate relief and pathways toward independence and stability.
