CENTRE FOR SPANISH-SPEAKING PEOPLES

The Centre for Spanish-Speaking Peoples provides social services to Spanish-speaking residents of Toronto and the surrounding region who face barriers to accessing mainstream support. The organization offers settlement services for newcomers, employment counselling, language programs, mental health support, and assistance navigating housing and health care systems. Staff and volunteers work directly with immigrants and refugees from Latin America, Spain, and the Caribbean, helping them build stability and connection in their new communities. The centre recognizes that language barriers and cultural differences often prevent people from accessing services they qualify for, and works to bridge that gap through culturally responsive programming and advocacy.
