THE COMMUNITY SOCIAL PLANNING COUNCIL OF TORONTO

The Community Social Planning Council of Toronto conducts research and advocacy on social and economic issues affecting residents across the city. The organization identifies emerging social needs through data collection and community engagement, then works to shape policy and mobilize resources around priorities like housing, poverty reduction, and equity. CSPC brings together practitioners, researchers, and affected communities to develop evidence-based recommendations for government and nonprofit leaders. By combining analysis of demographic trends with direct input from people experiencing these challenges, the council produces reports and policy briefs that inform how Toronto addresses its most pressing social problems.
