Free Korean Dogs

Free Korean Dogs rescues dogs from the meat trade in South Korea and provides them with safe housing and care before finding permanent homes in Toronto and the GTA. The organization works directly with Korean animal welfare partners to identify dogs destined for slaughter, transport them to Canada, and place them in foster homes where they receive veterinary treatment, behavioral assessment, and socialization. Adopters receive ongoing support to help their new pets adjust to life in a Canadian home. By combining rescue operations abroad with local adoption infrastructure, Free Korean Dogs addresses both the immediate housing needs of vulnerable animals and the long-term commitment required for successful placement.
