THE GATHERING PLACE

The Gathering Place operates a drop-in centre in Bowmanville that provides meals, emergency shelter, and supportive services to people experiencing homelessness and housing instability in the greater Durham region. The organization offers hot meals daily, access to showers and laundry facilities, and connections to social workers who help clients navigate housing programs, mental health resources, and employment support. Staff and volunteers work to create a welcoming environment where individuals can rebuild stability and reconnect with community.
