Hockey Equality

Hockey Equality provides hockey programs and equipment to low-income children in Markham and surrounding areas who would otherwise lack access to the sport. The organization removes financial barriers by offering free or subsidized ice time, gear, and coaching to youth regardless of their family's ability to pay. Through on-ice instruction and mentorship, Hockey Equality helps young people develop athletic skills, build confidence, and create meaningful friendships. The program serves children ages six through eighteen, with opportunities to participate in recreational leagues, skills development clinics, and competitive teams.
