NA-ME-RES (NATIVE MEN'S RESIDENCE)

NA-ME-RES provides supportive housing and social services for Indigenous men experiencing homelessness or housing instability in Toronto. The residence offers safe, secure accommodation alongside counselling, life skills training, and connections to employment and educational opportunities. Staff work with residents to address underlying challenges including addiction, mental health concerns, and trauma while fostering a sense of community and belonging. The organization recognizes the distinct barriers faced by Indigenous people in the housing and social services system and tailors its approach to cultural values and healing practices. By combining stable housing with wraparound supports, NA-ME-RES helps residents rebuild their lives and transition toward independence and long-term stability.
