ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF CHILDRENS AID SOCIETIES

The Ontario Association of Children's Aid Societies represents and supports child protection agencies across Ontario, including those serving Toronto and the GTA. The organization advocates for policies that strengthen child welfare systems and works to improve how child protection services respond to abuse, neglect, and family crises. OACAS provides training, research, and resources to help member agencies improve their practices and outcomes for vulnerable children and families. The association also engages with government and community partners to shape legislation and standards that protect children while supporting family stability. Through collaboration with its member societies, OACAS works to ensure that child protection systems operate effectively and that children in care receive appropriate support and services.
