PARENTS, FAMILIES AND FRIENDS OF LESBIANS AND GAYS - NORTH TORONTO CHAPTER

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) North Toronto Chapter provides support and advocacy for families with LGBTQ+ members. The organization runs support groups, educational workshops, and social events that help parents, siblings, and extended family members navigate their relationships with loved ones who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning. Members share experiences, build community, and learn from one another in a safe environment. PFLAG North Toronto also works to increase visibility and acceptance of LGBTQ+ individuals throughout the Greater Toronto Area by engaging in public education and participating in Pride events. The chapter connects isolated families with resources and with each other, reducing shame and fostering understanding across generations.
