RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING COUNCIL (ONTARIO)

The Responsible Gambling Council operates across Ontario from its Toronto base to reduce gambling-related harm through research, education, and support services. The organization develops evidence-based prevention programs for schools and communities, trains healthcare providers to recognize problem gambling, and operates a confidential helpline for people struggling with gambling issues. The Council also works with the gambling industry to implement harm reduction standards and policies. By combining public health approaches with direct support, the organization addresses the social and personal costs of problem gambling across the province.
