SEXUAL ASSAULT/RAPE CRISIS CENTRE OF PEEL

The Sexual Assault and Rape Crisis Centre of Peel provides crisis support and counselling to survivors of sexual violence in Brampton and the surrounding region. The centre operates a 24-hour crisis line staffed by trained advocates who listen without judgment and connect callers to immediate support. Survivors can access individual and group counselling sessions with trauma-informed therapists, as well as accompaniment services to hospitals, police stations, and court proceedings. The organization also offers prevention education in schools and community settings, trains service providers to better respond to survivors, and advocates for policy changes that strengthen protections for those affected by sexual assault. All services are offered free of charge to remove barriers for people seeking help during vulnerable moments.
