SOCIAL PLANNING COUNCIL OF PEEL

The Social Planning Council of Peel conducts research and advocacy work to address social issues affecting residents of Mississauga and the broader Peel Region. The organization analyzes data on poverty, housing, employment, and other community challenges to inform policy recommendations and public education efforts. Through reports, consultations, and collaboration with local government and community partners, the council works to identify gaps in social services and propose evidence-based approaches to improving quality of life. The organization serves as a resource for nonprofits, government agencies, and residents seeking to understand social trends and develop effective responses to community needs in the Greater Toronto Area.
