Spencer House provides safe housing and support services for women and children escaping domestic violence in Markham and the surrounding GTA. The organization operates transitional housing with on-site counselling, life skills programs, and legal advocacy to help residents rebuild their lives after trauma. Staff work with families to address immediate safety needs while connecting them with employment training, mental health resources, and educational opportunities. Spencer House also operates a 24-hour crisis line and offers outreach programs to women still in abusive situations.
