TORONTO FIELD NATURALISTS
Toronto Field Naturalists connects people across the Greater Toronto Area with the natural world through field trips, workshops, and citizen science projects. The organization leads guided walks to local parks and natural areas, teaching members to identify plants, birds, insects, and other wildlife. Members participate in seasonal surveys and monitoring programs that contribute scientific data on local ecosystems. The group also maintains a herbarium and library of natural history resources. With over a century of history, Toronto Field Naturalists fosters a community of nature enthusiasts and provides educational opportunities for people of all ages and experience levels to deepen their understanding of Toronto's natural heritage.
